Thinking about a Starter launch or a Custom build? Here is how the model works.

What's the difference between Starter and Custom?

Starter is a template site: about $500 to launch plus $59/mo for hosting and a small edit allowance. Custom projects are scoped after a discovery call, start from $1,000+, and cover tailored sites, redesigns, ecommerce, and larger work.

What counts as a minor edit on the monthly license?

Minor edits are text tweaks, swapping an existing image, and updates to hours, phone, or address. They are not new pages, redesigns, new sections, ecommerce features, or major copy rewrites.

What if I need more than 2-3 edits in a month?

Extras are billed as change requests. We confirm scope and cost before doing work outside the monthly allowance.

Do I own the website?

You own your brand assets and content. The Starter license covers hosting and maintenance of the live site while the monthly fee is active. Custom project ownership and handoff terms are spelled out in your proposal and agreement.

What happens if I cancel the monthly license?

Hosting and included edits end when the license ends. We will talk through export or migration options so you are not stuck. Those details are confirmed in writing when you start.

How long does a Starter site take?

Most Starter launches take about 1-2 weeks once we have your logo, copy, and images. Custom timelines are set in the proposal based on scope.

Is SEO included?

Starter includes solid technical foundations and basic on-page setup (titles, meta, mobile performance). Custom projects can include deeper SEO work when we scope it in. Ongoing SEO retainers are separate unless they are part of a proposal.

Do you work with local and remote clients?

Yes. We work with clients near our home base and with remote businesses nationwide. Discovery calls are usually video or phone.
